A Cure For Panic & Anxiety Attack Disorder

A panic attack or anxiety attack is a period of intense, often temporarily debilitating, sense of extreme fear or psychological distress, typically of abrupt onset.Most sufferers of panic attacks report a fear of dying.

The only way to fully eliminate panic and anxiety attacks from your life is to rid yourself of the thoughts of having another one. Meditation exercises techniques, diet, prescribed medications and alternative medicines are not permenant cures. This article points you towards a solution that can rid you of this horrific disorder forever.

You’re probably well aware that a panic attack is a ‘fight or flight’ response to a perceived threat. The reason the human brain responds like this goes back to our prehistoric past where humans needed their bodies to respond quickly to a perceived physical threat. What this new research is telling us, is that people’s mental activity during a panic attack is suddenly moving to the mid brain, resulting in the heightened state of fear and panic. In short, a separate part of your brain becomes more active during a panic attack.

The problem, as you well know, is that once the panic attack begins and that heightened state of fear starts, it is very difficult to calm yourself down. In order to restore calm you therefore need the brains mental activity to change. This is the reason why deep breathing is so ineffective in helping people control a panic attack. All deep breathing does is try and restore calm to the body. Trying to mentally calm the body is like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted.

Your brain is the control center and that’s where the change needs to happen. During a panic attack your brain has moved into panic mode and in order to really restore order you need to learn how to switch your mental activity back to the rational part of your brain. What is more is that you need to learn a technique that will grant you to do so in a split second, regardless of where you’re or what you’re doing.

There is probably nothing more frightening than a panic or anxiety attack. Panic attacks are caused by high anxiety. It usually is not from a real threat and often is an imagined fear of some threat. The disorder is an extremely frightening emotional experience. The problem is when it manifests itself as a repeated and feared cycle within the persons psyche.

After a person experiences a panic attack the very first time it leaves a mental imprint that generates a cycle or loop of anxiety. An unhealthy fear of having another panic attack manifests iteself and thus you unfortunately have panic and anxiety disorder as part of your life.

There is definitely one key factor that’s the difference between those who can fully eliminate panic attacks from their lives and those who can’t. This occurs only if and when an individual no longer fears the thought of having an anxiety or panic attack.

I know that sounds like a simplified and obvious observation but think about this. The very thing that compels you to search for a solution or cure to panic and anxiety attacks is the very fear of having another one.

If you do much searching online you will find a wealth of information that offer various ways of alleviating the problem.

Most of these fall into just a few catagories. Meditation exercises and techniques, diet, prescribed medications and alternative medicines. Unfortunately none of these therapies or techniques offer you any permanent relief from the debilitating attacks that can occur with life long panic and anxiety disorder.

It is possible to break this chain or cycle. The fear of having another attack itself is what has to be addressed then circumvented. When that happens no other therapies are needed and you can live without fear.

The technique employed is an advanced cognitive technique born from traditional psychology practices. This technique helps defuse the attack hours before the actual experience. With this technique there’s no need to regress or to analyze your past or even hypnosis. All that is needed is your willingness to break the cycle of intense anxiety.
This technique works because it cuts through to the initial cause which is intense anxiety.

There’s no reason to live with the horrible and life disturbing effects of panic and anxiety.
